History Embroidery Design :

Embroidery is one of the most popular and most popular types of needle. In ancient times in Russia all women possessed this art. Embroidery was associated with the ancient customs and rituals of Russian peasants. With the help of different needle and threads, Russian women turned a simple piece of cloth into a work of art.

A girl of seven or eight years began preparing her own dowry, and from fifteen and sixteen he was supposed to be festive and informal clothes, tablecloths, glimmers and towels, which should have been enough for several years. We brought back the towels, which were given to the groom's relatives and guests of honor at the wedding. Before the wedding, a product fair was held according to their number, and the quality was judged on the skill and due diligence of the bride

The art of embroidery has a centuries-old history. In the distant past, when people lived far away, all people, and sometimes even a small village, had their own peculiarities in embroidery and other forms of folk art. With the expansion of relationships between individual regions, local characteristics enrich each other. From generation to generation, color patterns and solutions were developed and improved, and embroidery patterns with distinctive national features created.

Depending on the nature of the patterns and methods of their implementation, Russian embroidery is very diverse. It is known that each region, and sometimes a neighborhood, has its own, only here are the usual techniques of embroidery, its motifs of ornament, color solutions.

Russian embroidery is different from other peoples' embroidery. There is a big role in this played by geometric ornamentation and geometric figures of plants and animals: diamonds, ornaments of a female figure, bird, tree, or flowering shrub, and a tiger with a high claw. Diamond shape, circle, rose depicting the sun - a symbol of warmth, life; The female figure and a flowering tree fertility fertility, a bird - symbolizes the arrival of spring.

The arrangement of the embroidery pattern and techniques was organically linked to the shape of the garments that were sewn from straight pieces of fabric. Sutures were performed on a number of subjects and were called counters. She adorned the shoulder straps, the ends of the sleeves, cut on the chest, the apron hem, the underside of the clothes, and also she was located along the joints.

In embroidery "free, according to the contour, patterns of plant nature prevailed.

Ancient Russian layers are: seam painting or semi-cross, group, cross, smooth surface for counting, "goat9quot", fine white line.

Later there were cutouts, color laying, cross stitch, guipure, embroidery, white and colored softness.

Embroidery of Russian peasants can be divided into two main groups: northern and central Russia. The works of Arkhangelsk, Novgorod, Pskov, Vologda, Kalinin, Ivanovo, Gorky, Yaroslavl, Kostroma, and Vladimir are from the north; To central Russia - Kaluga, Tula, Ryazan, Smolensk, Orel, Penza, Tambov and Voronezh regions.

The most common techniques of northern embroidery: cross, painting, cut-out, white stitching, through sewing, lead on the grid, white and colorful smoothness.

Northern story combinations were often performed by drawing paintings. In some regions of northern Russia, patterns were on aprons, shirts and towels hem across stitched, usually one color: red on white or white on red fabric. In patterns, graphs prevailed over geometric motifs. Compound fixtures were moved in silhouette, striped, in one color, in one trick. Here, together with women's costume and small household items embroidery, decorative items are decorated: towels, gaps, etc.

The peasant embroidery in the central Russian strip was very different from the north. In patterns, geometric figures predominate with the designated number combed with "with 9quot signs, that is, with two protrusions on each corner bearing the name" repey9quot. Or "9quot; nuts. It was characterized by an unusual set of patterns and color variations.

Multicolored central Russian ribbon embroidery. The background is visible, like the decoration itself. In addition to embroidery in the product design there are plaid fabric, stripes of ribbon, comas, colored fabric, as well as lace and gauze.

In southern regions, it was mainly used to decorate womens clothes and towels.

One of the most interesting and common developments in the Central Russian strip is Smolensk, Tula, and Kaluga color-coded regions. In addition, there are layers: group, plate, "pigtail9quot ,,," goats, cross, count, smoothing.

Based on the study of the traditions and experience of ancient masters, creative collections of art crafts create decorative elements that meet the aesthetic requirements of contemporary art.

Modern embroidery can be used to decorate children's and women's clothing, as well as household items: curtains on windows, napkins, pillows on pillows, carpets, panels, towels, aprons, bags, souvenirs, etc.

And respond immediately - a very long time. Yes, this is understandable. Men have always sought to decorate their homes and themselves with various crafts. Archaeologists polls show that even in the Stone Age, people painted cave walls, wore jewelry made of stone, and then made of metal. Of course, old clothes made of leather, leather and fabric can not survive, and their life is short. However, in museums you can get to know gorgeous, elegant embroideries in the 15th and 16th centuries.

The drawing was given magic meaning, and some pictures were the so-called "Talismans", which, according to beliefs, protect the home, animals and people from diseases and troubles. But this is a very special and interesting topic, now losing its previous importance.

Women were practicing the needle mainly in the village during the winter, when they were released from work in the field, in the woods and in the garden. The winter day is short, and it was possible to work only during the day, except in exceptional cases with a beam or, later, with a candle.
